The SIMATIC PCS 7 Industrial Workstation IPC647D is a rack PC designed for industrial use. It comes in a 19" form factor with 2 height units (2HE). This workstation offers a wide range of interfaces including 2x Gbit LAN, 1x DVI-I, 2x Display Port, 1x COM, 2x PS/2, Audio, and multiple USB ports. It features temperature and fan monitoring for optimal performance and includes a watchdog and card retainer for added security.

Powered by the Xeon E3-1268LV3 processor, the IPC647D ensures excellent processing power with its 4 cores and 8 threads. It has a base clock speed of 2.3 GHz and a cache size of 8 MB. The processor also supports Turbo Boost technology, Virtualization Technology for Directed I/O (VT-D), and Active Management Technology (AMT).

This workstation is equipped with a 480 GB SSD for fast and reliable storage. The SSD is installed in a removable frame on the front of the workstation for easy access. It also features 32 GB of DDR3 SDRAM in a Dual Channel configuration for efficient multitasking.
