Product Description

The Siemens SITRANS P200 Transmitters are designed for general applications where pressure and absolute pressure measurements are required. With a non-linearity of 0.25 percent (typically), these transmitters provide accurate and reliable readings.

The wetted parts of the transmitter are made of ceramics, stainless steel, and sealing material, ensuring durability and resistance to corrosion. The non-wetted parts are made of stainless steel, further enhancing the overall robustness of the device.

The measuring range for gauge pressure is from 0 to 40 bar, with an overload pressure capacity of up to 100 bar. The output signal is a standard 4 to 20 mA two-wire connection, compatible with most control systems. The power supply requirement is DC 7 to 33 V.

For added safety, the transmitters have explosion protection (EEx ia) certification. The electrical connection is made through a plug according to DIN EN 175301-803-A, while the thread for the packed gland is M16 (with connector).

The process connection is a G1/2" male to EN 837-1 (1/2" BSP male), which is the standard for metric pressure ranges such as mbar and bar. The sealing material used between the sensor and housing is Viton (FPM), providing excellent sealing properties.
