The SITRANS Probe LU Ultrasonic level transmitter is a reliable and precise device for continuous, non-contact measurement of liquid and slurry levels. With a measurement range of up to 12m (40 ft), it provides accurate monitoring of level and volume in various applications.

Included in the design is the option for PROFIBUS PA compatibility, allowing for seamless integration with existing automation systems. The transmitter is also approved for use in ordinary locations/general purpose environments, with certifications from FM, CCSAUS, CE, UKCA, RCM, and KC.

Please note that the SITRANS Probe LU Ultrasonic level transmitter is in the process of being phased out, but it is still available to order. For a similar and more up-to-date alternative, consider replacing it with the SITRANS Probe LU240 7ML51 model.

The enclosure/cable inlet is made of durable plastic (PBT), featuring two M20 cable glands (including one general-purpose cable gland) for easy installation. The range/transducer material of the transmitter is 6 meters (20 ft) and is constructed with ETFE for reliable performance.

The process connection is 2" NPT (Taper), complying with ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 standards. The communication/output options of the transmitter include 4-20mA and HART protocols.
