The Siemens SITRANS Probe LU Ultrasonic level transmitter is a high-quality device designed for continuous and non-contact level measurement. It offers a range of up to 12m (40ft), making it suitable for various applications in monitoring liquids and slurries.

The level transmitter comes with an optional PROFIBUS PA for improved communication capabilities. Its enclosure and cable inlet are made of durable plastic (PBT), featuring 2 x 1/2" NPT connections (cable glands are not supplied). The transducer material is PVDF Copolymer, ensuring reliable performance and accuracy.

The SITRANS Probe LU Ultrasonic level transmitter is designed with a 2" NPT process connection (taper) that complies with ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 standards. It supports 4-20mA and HART communication/output for seamless integration into existing systems.

This product is approved for various hazardous environments, including ATEX 1G Ex ia IIC T4 Ga, Ta = -40°C to +80°C; UKEX 1G Ex ia IIC T4 Ga, Ta = -40°C to +80°C; IECEx Ex ia IIC T4 Ga, Ta = -40°C to +80°C; INMETRO Ex ia IIC T4 Ga, IP67/IP68, -40°C = Ta = +80°C; KCs Ex ia IIC T4; RCM. It is designed to withstand extreme temperature conditions and provides reliable measurement in harsh environments.
