The SITRANS TH420 Temperature Transmitter is designed for installation in connection head type B (DIN 43729). It features two separate configurable inputs and a galvanically isolated 2-wire output. The transmitter supports HART communication (4 … 20 mA) and Input 1 is compatible with RTD Pt100 IEC 60751 3-wire. Both Input 1 and Input 2 do not require cold junction compensation (CJC). The transmitter does not include an enclosure and can be mounted on both the head and rail. It offers various protection options, including intrinsic safety (Ex i), increased safety zone 2 (Ex ec), non-incendive (NI), and non-incendive field wiring (NIFW) as per ATEX, IECEx, CSA, FM, NEPSI, EACEx, and Inmetro standards. The SITRANS TH420 does not support local operation on both the head and rail mounted versions.
